The Huda Beauty Topaz Obsessions Eyeshadow Palette features nine new eyeshadow shades in either a matte or shimmery finish. This is one of five new palettes in her jewel obsessions release. The five new ones are Emerald, Topaz (oranges), Ruby (reds), Sapphire (blues) and Amethyst (purples). 

I have limited knowledge about the brand other than it was started by a huge “beauty influencer” and honestly, if I find out any more about her I will probably be completely turned off as I am about 99% of them now. BUT I wanted to see what all the type was about so here we are.The individual shades do not have names, but they come in a nice compact sized square palette with a good sized mirror.The first, third and fifth shades are glittery, and while they feel smooth and creamy, they are prone to some fallout as glitters are.

The second, sixth and seventh shades are mattes and they are not without some issues. They feel pretty velvety to the touch but are a bit on the patchy side, especially the deep olive green ones.

The fourth, eighth and ninth shades are metallics and they are smooth like butter and extremely pigmented. LOVE them.
