Avon goodies makes me happy
12:26 PMhi boys and girls,
Back when I was in grade school, I remember when my friends brought home an Avon brochure which her classmates lent to them We’ve always wanted to purchase those cute accessories which are being sold by them. Along with that, I remember choosing some colognes which I want to give away to my classmates for holidays.
Avon is adding new products to their brand Mark. Their new Avon Mark Epic Intense Eyeshadow Mini Palettes look like Avon True Colour Eyeshadow Quads, but the color selection is different. Formula is similar, although some shades have surprisingly awesome pigmentation. Palettes come in a black shiny plastic packaging with the mark sign along the right side. It's minimalistic and closes securely. With it you also get small double sided sponge applicator. One side is regular triangular shaped, but the other side is more pointed. I don't use these applicators, although they would work nice for packing on more glittery shades. In the range you can choose among 8 color combinations. I'm sure they'll further expend the shade range. There are some more nude palettes. This is warm toned nude palette. I was surprised to see that all the shades look satin or shimmery. Usually, I can't do a look without a matte transition shade.
This one is called Big & Multiplied and it's supposed to be a volume mascara. The line of Big &.. consists of Big & Daring and Big & False Lash - both of which I'm very fond of, so I was very excited to try the new addition It's a nice mascara, I like the volume it gives my lashes, but it doesn't really live up to the claim of not clumping your lashes together. The Avon's mascaras or rather the Big &.. mascaras are actually very wet when you first buy/open them and I think that's the problem, because the clumping of the lashes happened to me with the other two versions also. You have to give it time, so it dries a little bit and then it performs at its best. At this time, I'm mostly using it in combination with other mascaras, because of the clumping.
This is gunmetal silver with small reflective flakes that make a chrome like effect. The first coat was very sheer, but the second coat made the polish fully opaque. The application was easy and streak free.
The Nadia Collection features layers of multi-textured beads alternating with faceted and metallic accents. Available in Hematite or Goldtone.
